BUILDING A GLORIOUS CHURCH WITHIN HIGH SCHOOL.
Our desire and passion for high school ministry is to empower youth in the 9th to 12th grades to encounter God and be transformed by His powerful, redeeming, and unfailing love. We are built on discipleship and aim to raise up a generation who embrace their identity in Christ and release God’s glory wherever they go.
A PEEK AT OUR YEARLY HAPPENINGS
The most anticipated yearly event is our high school winter retreat. Every February, youth come together for an exciting weekend of bonding, experiencing God, and gaining spiritual refreshment. Each year there are different themes that represent what we believe God is doing among the youth congregation.
SUMMER GIC CONFERENCE
Every summer during ROLCC's Glocal Impact Conference, youth have their own conference focusing on topics for their generation. Featuring special guest speakers, worship bands, and workshops, hundreds of youth are gathered to be inspired to impact their communities.
Each summer a few adult leaders take our students for cross cultural mission experiences. We have been to Mexico, Taiwan, Mongolia, and Trinindad so far. We believe mission trips are a great opportunity for youth to serve people in need, move out of their comfort zones, and live out their Christian beliefs.
CELL GROUP KICKOFF NIGHT
Cell group is one of the backbones of our ministry. Before the start of each school year, we host a cell group kick off night where everyone is invited to find out what cell groups we have and decide which ones they want to check out and join. This cell group then becomes their community where they can find brothers and sisters to walk their spiritual journey with.
As a student-led ministry with 17 cell groups and over 300 youth, we are constantly raising up new leaders and doing our best to empower them to believe the call of God on their lives. Once a year, we gather all our youth leaders for a one night retreat where they can receive through powerful times of worship and inspiring messages.
Usually happening every Easter and the beginning of their school year, Friend Sunday is a special outreach service where we encourage our youth to invite their friends. Youth step up to the platform to perform and share testimonies in front of their peers, and end the service with a festival in the Youth Center.
